Ride and clean!

Whether it’s leaves, gravel, metal, or glass debris, riding on dirty pavement makes for an unpleasant, bumpy experience. It may even drive you off the bike lane and into traffic—not safe! Our bike lane sweepers provide an economical, ecological, and practical way to clean bike lanes and roadsides. There are three types of sweepers:

  1. pick-up: debris is collected into bins for disposal, typically in urban settings
  2. push-aside: debris is pushed to the side, typically in rural settings
  3. hybrid: combines the pick-up and push-aside functions
Pick-up sweeper: Best for urban areas or for bike lanes beside curb or barrier. Bins must be regularly emptied. Most compact sweeper.
Push-aside sweeper: Pushes debris to the side of the bike lane or roadside. No need to ever empty bins.
Hybrid sweeper, pick-up mode: With the front guard lowered, debris is swept up into two bins.
Hybrid sweeper, push-aside mode: Can be switched to push-aside mode on the fly.

Features

Pulled by any bicycle

Our sweepers can be pulled by any bike, although e-bikes are helpful on uphills. Our sweepers are compact and eco-friendly.

Affordable

Dedicated bike lane sweeper trucks can cost upward of 200,000 USD. Our sweepers cost orders of magnitude less, enabling more sweeping of bike lanes.

Electrically powered brush

The custom-made brush is powered by an electric motor connected to a battery mounted on the sweeper.

Adaptable

The adjustable hitch has a standard Burley connection to the towing bike. It can accommodate any rear wheel size from 20 to 29 inches.

Wireless control

A wireless on-off switch clamps to the handlebar.

Fit in the trunk of a mid-sized car

Our sweepers are slightly over 3 feet wide (about one meter) and can be lifted by two people.

About us

The eco bike lane sweeper project was started by Pierre during the COVID-19 pandemic. After he built successful proof-of-concept sweepers, Cedric joined the team for assistance with design and manufacturing. We are both cyclists who are passionate about making bike lanes and roadsides safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
